DHARMENDRA SINGH
An IIT post graduate with an industry experience of 10+ years in various multinational companies, Dharmendra comes from a village of Uttar Pradesh state in India. Born and brought up in a village, he has witnessed people struggling to earn their livelihood. As people do not have a good earning, it directly affects their children's education. Witnessing all these problems he visions to help people, particularly in villages, earn their living from farming and artisanry skills they are inherently proficient in.
JAYA
Jaya has a doctorate in Sociology - which revolves around the science of social life and study of society. Her interest in sociology stems from her deep understanding of the fact that people are at the apex of any new creation. She innately enjoys knowing about people, different cultures , styles of living and all that gives a deeper meaning to ones life. During her fieldwork for Phd. she came across mundane problems that people encountered in their day to day lives. A small aspect of that she tries to resolve through this venture that is aimed at customized solutions.
She has also been involved in deep research around cultural diversity in villages and cities of Rajasthan. Her learning has been instrumental in fulfilling home needs with breathtaking cultural diversity
A diploma holder in costume designing and garment technology, she at heart is a lover of art and has travelled o rural areas extensively in pursuit of finding the people who are deeply still involved in passing on the traditional art and craft forms. Her learning simply puts you in a place where your artistic needs are met by people who value them and produce them with utmost care.
SEEMA
A post graduate in sociology and lovely mother of two kids. An empowered woman and a budding entrepreneur who has been deeply involved with empowering Artisans from her village. She believes that Art and crafts are in reality- stories, feeling and emotions that an artist has experienced. She along with her mother has been instrumental in providing a community for some women artisan groups where they are able to showcase and market their beautiful pieces of art.
Providing employment to these rural woman is just one aspect of her endeavor, the main being the ability to revive these traditional forms
